Out of Winnipeg and across three Prairie provinces today. The fuel use was going so well that we rescheduled our fuelling stop a little further west at the Flying J station at Portage La Prairie. The “Bg Sky” was the highlight of driving across Saskatchewan. Some of the drivers were convinced that they could see tyres and steering wheels featured in the ever-changing storm clouds!
Smarter Driver Playlist pick of the Day
Two picks today. The first is Road to Nowhere by Talking Heads (a top three pick of mine). The second is not actually on the list but it came to me as we drove across the prairies that Neil Young had produced a fabulous album based on his memories of being raised in Manitoba- Prairie Winds.
