Last day of the year for hockey: Playoffs day at Macs Tournament

On the last day of the year it’s playoffs day at the 40^th year of the Mac’s Midget AAA Hockey Tournament. There are eight teams in contention at the quarter-finals stage, seven from Canada and one from the USA:

• Calgary Northstars
• Albert Raiders
• Red Deer Optimist Chiefs
• Calgary Buffaloes
• New York Jr Islander
• Fraser Valley Thunderbirds
• Regina Pat Canadians

The winners go again in the semi-finals played at Max Bell Arena 1 at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm
