Day 2 at the Mac’s AAA Midget Tournament
Calgary Royals put in a big win, 5-1 against the Hungarian National U18 team on Day 2 of the Mac’s AAA Midget Hockey Tournament at Max Bell Arena 1. Coming off first game losses in their pool on Day 1, both teams had a lot to prove. It was the Royals that put down the evidence with their impressive forechecking, fierce body checking in defense and determination in front of the Hungarian net.
Mac’s Midget Male Division (Pool 1)
There are five male Bantam AAA teams competing in Pool 1 in the 40th year of the Mac’s Midget AAA Hockey Tournament: Calgary Royals; Fraser Valley Thunderbirds; Hungarian National U18; St. Albert Raiders; and Tisdale Trojans.
