Best text book tackle 2015? Photos from friendly pitch invasion Las Vegas #Rugby Sevens

It wasn’t an official play in Las Vegas. It happened at half time in the final game of the HSBC Rugby Sevens World Series between Fiji and New Zealand. A joyous fan of the USA Eagles team jumped on to the pitch at Sam Boyd Stadium, and began running. She progressed well in her friendly pitch invasion, kitted out in a stars and stripes top and red tutu. The noisy crowd encouraged her over quite a distance until more defence (aka Security Team) stepped in, lined her up and made a text book tackle.

I don’t believe I have ever seen someone looking so happy about being tackled. Take a look at her expression.
