Urban recce run: Frogman in Rio

My recently acquired iPhone goes so well on these urban recce’s, it inspired me to start an occasional series (I will share #1 tomorrow).

Running along the beach in Barra da Tijuca, Rio yesterday, I came across one of those moments when you are so glad you have a camera with you. This man had been swimming around Lagoa da Tijuca, right down where it meets the sea at Praia do Pepe. He was looking for items of value fallen off the bridge above. In my learning Portuguese I asked him if I could take his photo, “Posso tirar uma foto de você?” He agreed and here it is, “Homem-rã do Rio” (Frogman of Rio).
